Mission Statement

College of MultiMedia (CMM) has been operational for over 10 years, offering high quality education, in the various disciplines of multimedia. These include Interactive design, 3D design and animation, sound design, video production, graphics creation, web design and authoring of cd and dvd media.

An Australian, Guy Nicholson, who has over 25 years of experience in private specialised education, heads CMM. He now directs the operation of CMM from our Amsterdam location.

Nicholson: "When I started work on CMM, I did extensive research into where the future of multimedia was heading. It soon became very clear that the former separate components of multimedia: audio, video, graphics and authoring, could all be professionally contained within one job description. With the right training, knowledge, skills and technology, one creative person could then control multimedia creation. This is now happening and there is a tremendous need for these professional multimedia authors. With the constant expansion of the Internet and interactive media, demand for qualified personnel will always exceed supply. Large businesses are moving their multimedia authoring in-house for more security, control and cost effectiveness. These changes will enable them to keep their interactive media innovative and up to date. Web sites need constant updates and new ideas to keep visitors interested and to also keep them coming back."

The educational programs that are offered in Amsterdam are: firstly our career based education, MultiMedia Engineer and secondly our various practical skill based programs such as Digital Video Producer, 3D Producer, Web Development, PHP/MySQL, Sound Production, Podcasting and various short courses on specialised software applications from Apple, Digidesign, Adobe and Macromedia.
